Niechorze Lighthouse

Niechorze Lighthouse is located on a high cliff. The structure was built in 1866, and faced brick was used in its construction. In the lower part the base is rectangular, whereas above the attached sections it is octagonal. The tower has projecting pilasters at the corners, and the planes between them are faced with light-yellow brick. At a height of 37 meters there is a viewing platform. The lighthouse is topped by a lantern covered with a domed roof. Initially, the lighthouse's light source was rapeseed oil, of which up to 1,500 kilograms were used annually.
